Best Way to a Flat Stomach?

Every woman wants a flat stomach. Well, you can definitely get one!

Let's be blunt here: if your nutrition isn't in check, it's not going to happen. Sorry, I'm not going to sugar coat it for you. That is the truth; no pill, powder, song or dance with change it. And it's nothing fancy: eat natural, whole foods. Plain and simple: you don't need me to tell you cokes, donuts, and candy bars are bad for you.

If you're doing dozens of crunches, you are wasting your time. You could also be setting yourself up for some serious back pain. Lesson two: stop doing crunches.

The best way to a flat stomach through exercise is by . . . are you ready for this . . . performing resistance training.

I can hear you now, "But shouldn't I run a few miles a day and do a lot of cardio?" (Just so you know, I could tell you how to get a flat stomach with NO cardio what so ever).

No. Let me say that again . . . NO! The most important thing (after sound nutrition) is engaging in resistance training. This means doing things like squats, deadlifts, pushups, chin-ups (assisted versions, too), and other compound movements.

Women are afraid of these exercises because they are afraid they'll get "big and bulky." Instead, they opt to do tricep kickbacks with pink dumbbells and use the inner and outer thigh machines. Do yourself a favor and NEVER do any of those exercises again. They will not help you get a flat stomach.

I'll touch more on this later.
